National Health Center Week (NHCW) is an annual celebration raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers over the past five decades. Community Health Centers (CHCs) are key to ensuring everyone can access affordable, quality healthcare. Each year, NHCW focuses on raising awareness to serve patients and communities better.

This year’s theme is “The Roadmap to a Stronger America.” The theme highlights the achievements and work being done at Community Health Centers in every state and territory.

In Idaho, Community Health Centers serve more than 200,000 yearly. 79% of community health centers serve rural communities and employ 2,200 full-time employees.

In Washington, community health centers serve more than 1.2 million patients annually and care for more than 100,000 agricultural workers.

CHCs are locally run yet part of a national network serving nearly 30 million people nationwide. Learn more at nachc.org
