CHAS Health is excited to announce that a grant award from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has enabled us to open one of the area’s first Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs). Like Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), CCBHCs are designed to include patients in the design and delivery of services and provide wrap-around care, regardless of ability to pay. In contrast to other CHAS Health clinics, the CHAS Behavioral Health Center, opening June 2021, focuses on behavioral health first, with primary care and pharmacy services also offered on-site to support whole patient health. The Center will provide specialized care for chronic behavioral health conditions as well as targeted case management, peer support services, and other collaborative care. Patients will be able to select from a menu of these options to customize their treatment and achieve stable behavioral health. Exciting expansions of our services for children and families and substance use programming will also be available. |
To serve our community in this exciting new endeavor, we are currently recruiting for several positions, including:
Clinical Manager (LISCW or ARNP) – This role will function as the Behavioral Health clinical lead for the Center, working closely with the Clinic Administrator ensuring day-to-day operations meet our wellness vision.
Clinic Administrator
Behavioral Health Provider II (LISCW/Associate or LMHC/Associate)
Behavioral Health Provider II Child and Family (LISCW/Associate or LMHC/Associate)
Chemical Dependency Counselor (CDP)
